Our 2018 AGM was held at the Firehall Theatre in Gananoque on November 8. Highlights of the meeting included:
* greetings from David Kendall, member of the Board of Governors;
* a special presentation to Helen Earl, our Goodwill Convenor, for her above expectations efforts;
* 8 local Project STO presentations to Lyndhurst Rejuvenation Committee, Fort Town Concert Association; Mallorytown Coach House Museum; Days for Girls; Lions' Music Festival; Rideau-St. Lawrence Science Fair; Wall Street Sunday Suppers; Youth Opportunities in the Arts
* a presentation of the 50th Anniversary Award to Mary Lou Smitheram.

Flag over Blockhouse

In August 2018, the RTO/ERO flag flew proudly over Blockhouse Island in downtown Brockville ON to recognize RTO/ERO's 50th Anniversary, and the many volunteers that enrich our city.

Golf Tournament, 2018

Another picture perfect day for our Charity golf tournament in support of Fun with Books. The $2200 raised was donated to pay for the publication of their final book. Thanks to all who helped us support this children's literacy program over the years.

2015 Annual General Meeting

The 5th Annual General Meeting of District 48, RTO/ERO was held on October 28 at the Brockville Tabernacle Community Hall. After in interesting presentation on the scandalous history of Rockport by Brian Phillips, and several presentations of grants through Project Service to Others, reports were received and an election carried out. Following this, members enjoyed an excellent turkey dinner.
